01:40:42<dancor>is anyone else seeing seeOther "http://haskell.org/hoogle/?q=->" silently give a blank page
01:41:07<dancor>seeOther "http://haskell.org/hoogle/?q=a b" does as well but i guess that's just because of the space
01:41:21<dancor>but "->" don't have %entities
01:41:29<dancor>so i don't know what's going on other then bug
01:46:31<Saizan>> Network.URI.parseURI "http://haskell.org/hoogle/?q=->"
01:46:36<psibot> Not in scope: `Network.URI.parseURI'
01:46:52<Saizan>right.
01:47:05<Saizan>Prelude Network.HTTP Network.URI> parseURI "http://haskell.org/hoogle/?q=->"
01:47:05<Saizan>Nothing
01:47:12<Saizan>dancor ^^^
02:03:00<mightybyte>Any idea why I get the following error compiling HAppS-Plugins?
02:03:09<mightybyte>Could not find module `Data.Map': it is a member of package containers-0.1.0.1, which is hidden
02:03:48<Saizan>yes, add containers to build-depends
02:03:49<mightybyte>All the other HAppS packages compile for me, and I have used Data.Map in my own programs.
02:05:52<mightybyte>Ok, that worked, but now "Could not find module `HAppS.StdMain.StartState'"
02:06:29<Saizan>where's this repo?
02:07:10<mightybyte>I've got all the HAppS repos in /usr/local/src
02:07:33<mightybyte>HAppS-Plugins is as well.
02:10:14<mightybyte>HAppS.StdMain doesn't appear to exist anywhere.
02:12:33<Saizan>ah, no i was asking because i can't find it on the server, but i've seen the link on happs.org
02:13:12<Saizan>that repo is probably not on par with HAppS-State developement
02:13:59<mightybyte>Oh
02:14:32<mightybyte>Is that SessionKeeper going to stay in that repo?
02:16:45<Saizan>oh, -Plugins is a rename for -Agents
02:17:43<Saizan>yes, i guess so, you could file a bug on the tracker maybe
02:18:16<mightybyte>Yeah, it does look like it's not up-to-date with -State
02:20:18<mightybyte>There is a SessionKeeper in -State, but most of it is commented out.
02:21:36<Saizan>i fear that is even older
02:21:42<mightybyte>Ok
02:22:24<mightybyte>Do you have any idea where the definition of deriveAll (templateHaskell stuff) is located? I've looked all over to no avail.
02:24:16<Saizan>HAppS.Data.DeriveAll here, i'm pulling though
02:24:46<Saizan>still there :)
02:25:43<mightybyte>Ok, great. Don't know why I missed that.
02:27:28<Saizan>ACTION performed a linear search with grep
02:29:11<mightybyte>Yeah, I tried that too, must have just missed the critical line amongst the output.
02:30:32<mightybyte>I guess I've been missing alot today.
03:51:35<mightybyte>@hoogle UpdateEvent
03:51:37<psibot>No matches found
14:03:33<mightybyte>Does the HAppS project accept patch submissions?
14:03:49<kaol>sure it does
14:04:31<mightybyte>Ok, I have one trivial patch that fixes a couple problems in HAppS-Plugins
14:04:45<mightybyte>How do I submit it?
14:05:03<kaol>use darcs to make a patch and send it to alexj
14:05:15<mightybyte>Email?
14:05:23<kaol>yes
14:05:29<mightybyte>Ok
14:14:17<mightybyte>Should the patches be in diff format or does darcs have something unique?
14:14:50<kaol>darcs send --help
14:24:24<tibbe>where can I find the core HTTP bits of HAppS that deal with sending and receiving over sockets?
14:33:21<Saizan>mightybyte: create a patch with darcs record, and then send it with darcs send
14:34:14<Saizan>tibbe: darcs get --partial --tag=0.9.2 http://happs.org/repos/HAppS-HTTP
14:35:46<tibbe>Saizan: thanks
15:08:43<mightybyte>Saizan: Ok, got it.
16:24:18<GrayShade>ACTION slaps tuukkah around a bit with a large trout
16:24:38<GrayShade>sorry, it was a mistake
16:24:46<tuukkah>hi GrayShade :-)
16:25:01<GrayShade>hello
16:25:27<tuukkah>i thought that was just to wake me up ;-)
16:26:08<GrayShade>nope, i pressed the right mouse button against something and i started typing
16:31:41<GrayShade>if i have a but to report, should i use the google code page?
16:31:50<GrayShade>s/but/bug/
16:42:31<Saizan>GrayShade: yup
16:42:40<GrayShade>done
17:49:33<tennin>ha, missed " AlternativeHTTP is being phased in to replace SimpleHTTP, so this section will focus on the definitions from AlternativeHTTP. "
17:50:06<mightybyte>tennin: :)
17:50:57<mightybyte>tennin: Find anything useful there?
17:51:06<tennin>oh, you're still here :)
17:51:26<Saizan>where's this tutorial?
17:51:35<tennin>not often you can seamlessly resume a conversation that was interrupted 36 hours ago
17:51:48<mightybyte>Saizan: On the wiki
17:51:57<mightybyte>http://haskell.org/haskellwiki/HAppS_tutorial2
17:51:59<psibot>Title: HAppS tutorial2 - HaskellWiki
17:52:34<tennin>being pointed to the AlternativeHTTP is useful in itself.
17:52:54<mightybyte>brb
