23:06:12<TomMD>Happs on Hackage is missing proper build deps (bytestring, array, containers) should I submit a patch or is that changed in darcs?
23:08:29<kaol>the version on hackage is ancient. just disregard it.
23:08:48<prb>kaol: Then someone should flag it as such or take it down.
23:08:54<prb>kaol: No use confusing folks.
23:09:29<kaol>the 0.9.2 release should happen real soon now
23:09:46<kaol>that's due to be put in hackage too
23:10:07<kaol>and at this stage, confusion regarding HAppS is a given
23:14:01<prb>kaol: I wish it wasn't so.
23:14:19<prb>kaol: You'd have a lot more people helping if they knew how. (Me included.)
23:15:24<TomMD>Perhaps once 0.9.2 happens more will beable and thus will help.
23:15:31<kaol>I'm not really involved with HAppS, though I'm (too) waiting for things to clear up
23:16:05<TomMD>I need them to build happs as a VM, then I'll use it ;-)
23:16:28<prb>I just want to get the code out of darcs easily and look it over.
23:17:03<TomMD>That isn't an issue. I've got it from darcs, but I find it funny that it requires the little-known 'searchpath' in its installation.
23:17:20<prb>I just want a list of the repos and URLs.
23:17:41<prb>The repos aren't browsable because of server configuration
23:19:30<TomMD>compiling HAppS now... just a couple of CPU cycles till I can find a cure for cancer and factor large number in polynomial time... happs can do it all.
23:20:21<prb>I had the privilege of hearing J.P. Serre give a colloquium when I was a graduate student, and he gave an anecdote to introduce his talk.
23:21:06<prb>"My friend told me that he likes to have at least one good idea in each of his papers. I said that he was mistaken; it was at most one good idea."
23:21:13<prb>It's difficult enough to do one thing right...
